It is the Foundation’s mission to help families with special needs children by providing them with financial support through a Rainbow Grant. We have provided holiday gifts to a child with autism. A few grants we have given include: communication devices, YMCA summer camps, theatre arts camp, sensory equipment, insurance costs, parent workshops, a stroller, tumble form seat, wheelchair ramp and school tuition assistance. In addition, JRF continues to donate to Delco Family PASS’ Johnny’s Scholarship Fund and to PRISMS: Parents and Researchers Interested in Smith Magenis Syndrome.

We created this foundation in honor of our son, Johnny, who we lost in 2006 at the age of nine. Johnny had Smith-Magenis Syndrome and Autism. He was an amazing little boy who loved life and would always greet you with a smile! Johnny’s legacy lives on by the helping his friends.
